From tomorrow in Crotone the first edition of “Pasta Fest”

From 23 to 25 May the first edition of “Pasta Fest” will be held in Crotone, thanks to the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Catanzaro, Crotone and Vibo Valentia, through its special company Promocalabriacentro, and with the patronage of the Municipality of Crotone. A gastronomic journey that from the “laganon” reaches the present day and which, together with the other local excellences, falls – explains a note from the Chamber of Commerce – with full rights in that “tangible and immaterial heritage” of Calabria, because giving life to good pasta is an art that has been handed down for centuries.

“The administration and the department strongly support the creation of events aimed at valorising and promoting local resources which also highlight the link between culture, history, art, customs, tradition, nature and environmental sustainability ” declared the Tourism Councilor of Crotone, Maria Bruni, during a press conference.

“Pasta Fest will be a container full of events in which, in addition to tasting the agri-food products of the pasta supply chain and its condiments from our companies, there will be alternating moments of music, exhibitions and workshops. We therefore invite you to participate to promote our territory and our businesses together” added vice-president Emilia Noce.

“The Pasta Fest represents an important showcase for our companies” explained the president of the chamber of commerce, Pietro Falbo, “during which they will have the opportunity to show their excellence, and not only at a local level but also abroad . This is why the Chamber of Commerce of Catanzaro, Crotone and Vibo Valentia has embraced the project with conviction, supporting it through its special company. The history of the origins and places where this precious food, pasta, was born must be handed down and valorised and the Pasta Fest will certainly offer visitors a multi-sensory experience rich in the aromas of our beautiful land”.
