The Artists’ Café of Cesenatico organizes the 2024 edition of the 11th Cafè racer day, a great event dedicated to fans of motorcycle racing and motorbikes from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Enthusiasts of vintage motors will arrive from all over Italy to display their spectacular motorbikes, in the place where the city circuit race once took place, before stopping at the Cafè degli Artisti where the party will continue with live music concerts and awards ceremonies for the most beautiful motorcycles. Appointment on Sunday 26 May 2024 starting at 9 am for the motorcycle exhibition on the stretch of Viale Carducci adjacent to the Cafè degli Artisti.
The program includes the first appointment Saturday 25 May with the opening of the “Cafè degli Artisti” starting from 5pm followed by the DJ set in the evening and the concert of a rock band. Sunday 26 May it will be the highlight of the day, for the historical re-enactment of the city circuit of the 60s and 70s on the Viale Carducci seafront which will last throughout the day until late afternoon, with the parade of old motorbikes in a short journey; on this day too, space will be given to live music with band concerts, performances followed by awards for the most beautiful specimens and other entertainment initiatives. The first part of the re-enactment will be held from 9.30 to 12. The first heat is divided into engine sizes from 50cc to 500cc. From 12.00 to 12.30 it will be the time for the great champions of the past on the track and from 12.30 to 13.00 there will be a motorbike parade. The second heat will be held in the afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. The awards ceremony and greetings are scheduled for 5pm. The circuit on Sunday 26 May will start in Viale Carducci in front of the Cafè degli Artisti, where the motorcycles will proceed northwards up to the roundabout of viale Trento (excluded), and then turn back and return to the stalls.
