“Central-northern Europe continues to be affected by a vast depression area, within which disturbances move at altitude which maintain variable and moderately unstable conditions in Piedmont“: these are the forecast regional, as reported in the bulletin of Harp Piedmont. “This afternoon, showers and thunderstorms are expected, mainly confined to the mountains, tomorrow the transit of a new depression wave will fuel more widespread instability with thunderstorm phenomena that may also affect the lowland areas. On Wednesday, the temporary increase in pressure values will favor sunnier conditions and a sharp rise in temperatures and freezing temperatures, with some more significant cloud cover on the following day“.
According to the regional Arpa weather forecast, in Piedmont Tomorrow Partially cloudy skies are expected, with more substantial clouds in the central hours of the day in the Alpine sectors and on the border with Liguria. From the central hours, showers and thunderstorms scattered across the Alpine mountains and foothill areas of locally moderate or strong intensity, with phenomena subsequently passing through the adjacent plains. Thermal zero substantially stationary at 3300-3400 m. Minimum temperatures increasing, maximum temperatures decreasing. Winds
in the mountains weak from the southwest, rotating from the northwest over the Alps in the afternoon, moderate from the south over Astigiano and Alessandria and weak variables elsewhere.
