Perugia, 21 May. 2024 – Momix return to perform in Perugia, twenty years later, with the show ‘Back to Momix’. The famous company of dancer-illusionists, founded by Moses Pendleton and known throughout the world for the exceptional originality and beauty of their shows, will perform at the PalaBarton on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 June.
The show, proposed by Patagonia Pictures, is included in the first edition of the international NutriArte festival, which will be staged in Perugia from 5 to 9 June and will be presented on Wednesday 29 May in the Pagliacci room of the Palazzo della Provincia.
‘Back to Momix’, in Perugia, a show of which Radio Subasio will be the official radio, will begin at 9pm with the gates opening to the public at 8pm. “The Momix Company, for 43 years – the organization anticipates – continues to impress the its audience with the acrobatics of its incredible dancers and the transformism of its characters which evoke ever new sensations and colours.
Despite the numerous changes that the group has undergone over the years, the company’s stronghold has remained the desire to entertain the public, evoking surreal images thanks to the fusion of bodies, the play of light, the props and the costumes”. Momix made their debut with the famous show Momix Classics, with which they left their mark on an international audience.
In 1992 they presented Passion, another worldwide success built on the notes of ‘The Last Temptation of Christ’ by Martin Scorsese. Numerous further successes followed such as Baseball in 1994, Supermomix in 1996, Opus Cactus in 2001. In Italy, the Company appeared in Rai productions broadcast worldwide. In the summer of 2010, Momix reMix arrives, with two new world premiere choreographies.
