Water day together with school groups – Teramo

CROGNALETO. Cesacastina di Crognaleto was “invaded” by many children from the schools of Montorio, Teramo and Crognaleto for the Water Festival in the presence of the mayor Orlando Persiathe president of Ruzzo Alessia Cognittithe forestry carabinieri and the lieutenant colonel Sonia Placidithe commander of the Carabinieri of the Teramo company Luigi Vagliothe mayor of Capitignano Franco Pucci and his students, the firefighters who allowed an interactive event like Pompieropoli to take place. The sound of water, where the water we drink originates from and the importance of this natural resource were the main themes of the “Day dedicated to water” which, with the participation of disabled children with the help of special jolette and visually impaired people, has implemented an inclusive mountain project. An excursion to the sources of the Ruzzo, to the water museum and to the ancient workshops of the chair makers of San Pietro and to the coal path organized by the Cai Isola section in collaboration with the Lions Club of Isola del Gran Sasso D’Italia, the association Genius loci, the local White Cross, the Ruzzo networks, the Gran Sasso Laga National Park, the Green School of San Pietro, the “Taruss” cultural association, Nature Experience and the Italian Union of the Czech and Visually Impaired – Teramo and the writer Letizia Ciarrocchi with the support of the Municipality of Isola. And the members of the CAI di Castelli carried out the maintenance of the Fondo della Salsa path, the lowest snowfield in Europe.
