The construction of the construction site has begun in via Trebbia, at the corner of via Ciria, where works financed by the Pnrr are planned. At the moment, the wooden poles that delimit the work area have been planted on the lawn in front of the municipal houses in via Valdipado; important extraordinary maintenance works will be carried out here. Some of the accommodation will have to be merged, to meet the need for homes of large families. Initially, however, they were designed above all for single elderly people, with reduced space requirements.
The installation of photovoltaic panels is also planned to increase energy efficiency. The works will also concern the improvement of seismic safety and other extraordinary maintenance interventions. The Pnrr contribution is 2,953,900 euros, with co-financing from the Municipality for another 46 thousand euros.
The Pnrr contribution for the road works for the construction of the roundabout between via Ciria and via Trebbia amounts to 406 thousand euros, with co-financing from the Municipality of approximately 12,200 euros.
The construction of the roundabout is preparatory, in the road section south of Via Trebbia, to the insertion of a cycle and pedestrian path separated from the roadway, in order to connect the cycle path of Via Eridano, coming from Largo Moreni, and the Po district along Via Thresher.
