Imagine being able to see the Grand Prix Of Imola from a private terrace, away from the crowd of fans. This is the story of Denise Marcorella30 years old, enjoying F1 cars from his apartment Grandmother Leonilde Ferri, overlooking the two Rivazza curves in viale dei Colli. A position envied by many enthusiasts “who have always asked us to go up, also offering us figures of One thousand Euro“, as told to Courier of Bologna.

“The first Grand Prix that I remember clearly is the victory of Fernando Alonso In the 2005, when Nando battled Schumacher’s Ferrari at the end of the GP, winning. Then the following year Michael took it revenge“, said Marcorella. In those years the GP of San Marino we raced in Imola and the cars still made a difference rhombus deafening: “The naturally aspirated engines of the past were incomparable. The glass in our house Almost they trembled, we even heard the pilots climbing when they arrived at Tosa.” In the mental album of memories, Marcorella has also reconstructed the excitement and the program for each event weekend of competition: “The Wednesday grandmother used to pick me up from school and from then until Sunday I stayed fixed by her, even to sleep. Home became like a camp, where only one could enter family members and to the max some friends. When I was little, my uncles and cousins came and it was a party, we spent a day making banners, while in the meantime my grandmother prepared lunch and dinner for everyone”.

That house has always attracted the curious glances of the fans who gradually crowded the circuit in view of the races and, as explained by Marcorella, sometimes offers in mind-boggling money: “In the past, many fans have always asked us to go out. They also offered figures of One thousand Eurobut we always said no, because this is a sacred place. They buzzed us several times or someone honked as they passed by in a car.” And who knows how much these people would pay to be able to see, from next year, Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari from the 30-year-old’s private terrace. Meanwhile, without any doubt, she will enjoy it herself: “I have always liked it, so much so that the GP that is closest to my heart is the one in 2020, which coincided with a victory for her. My brother Federico He’s a fan of Ferrari, but he’s always been against Lewis. From next year, however, he will be forced to support him.”
