MUSE outsourced workers, the vice president met with the CGIL

The vice president of the autonomous province of Trento met this morning with a union representation of the outsourced workers of the Muse of Trento together with the manager of the Organization, Personnel and Innovation Department Luca Comper and the manager of the Education and Culture Department Francesca Mussino.

A moment of discussion during which the delegation illustrated to the vice president and provincial managers the fears and doubts of the “pilots” working for the cooperatives a few weeks after the awarding of the new service contract. What worries the union and workers, in addition to the safeguard clause, is the downsizing of the specialized figure of the “pilot” envisaged by the notice, the possible reduction in the number of hours, the risk of increasing flexibility with the consequent worsening of hourly shifts, the overall reduction in quality of the museum’s public services.

In listening to the requests represented at the table, the vice president ensured the maximum attention of the Administration and the will of the Province in maintaining the Muse a place of excellence and with an even more international vocation.
A vision that also passes through the valorisation of its human resources, on whose adequate use by the new contracting company the vice president assured her own commitment and that of the provincial structures to supervise and monitor the application of the new contract.

Finally, the vice president underlined that the new board of directors of the museum recently took office and the selection of the new director is underway, steps that are also fundamental for outlining the future vision of the museum, and which could constitute suitable support for the Administration to a permanent comparison with the institution also on the employment of workers front.
