PORDENONE – On Wednesday 15 May, the initiative organized by the Pordenone Host Lions Club with the support of the Brugnera-Pasiano-Prata Lions Club, aimed at raising funds, took place at the Verdi Theatre, packed with spectators despite the adverse weather conditions. , for charitable purposes, which will be donated both for the setting up of the New Waiting Room of the Pediatric Oncology Department of the Aviano CRO, an initiative shared by the entire Lions District 108 Ta2 and the Lions Clubs International Foundation, and for the purchase of new equipment for the mobile ophthalmology clinic, commonly known as a camper, already purchased and equipped with equipment by the Pordenone Host Lions Club itself and operating in the area for a few years, such as to make the prevention action of eye diseases carried out by volunteer medical specialists.

The evening, sponsored by the municipal administration of Pordenone and supported by numerous sponsors, was made possible thanks to the Gabriel Fauré Musical Association, which immediately shared the objective of the initiative by offering the show entitled C’ETRA UNA VOLTA , homage to the well-known Cetra Quartet, with the welcome and irreverent presence of Papu as commentators on the proposed pieces. The arrangement of the classic Cetra successes was entrusted by the artistic director Emanuele Lacchin to the composer Valter Poles and their performance to the Pordenone Vocal Ensemble accompanied by the Gabriel Fauré Consort, directed by the director himself.

The evening, exciting and fun, received the appreciation of the public who generously supported the initiatives mentioned, in the name of that spirit of service recognized in the Lion movement.
