I had the great dream of bringing the Hockey World Cup to Novara after 40 years and, now, not only do we have the World Cup, but also a team in Serie A1 in the year of the centenary of Novara’s hockey history. It is a result that goes beyond the wildest expectations. Delivering the cup to this team in an arena once again crowded with fans was a great emotion.
I want to express my heartfelt congratulations to all those who made this achievement possible, doing their part day by day. The team, management and fans gave their all, demonstrating incredible commitment and passion. A special thank you goes to those fans who were present and faithful even in the lowest categories, supporting the team at all times.
This is a place that is closely linked to the world of hockey and its place is the A1 series. Now, finally, we have returned home.
