In May, the members of Central Tuscany Umbria Bank will be able to participate in two significant events: the annual meeting and the inauguration of the new Foligno branch. The annual meeting was held at the congress hall of the Fucoli Park in Chianciano Terme, where the budget for the 2023 financial year was approved. The budget highlighted a net profit of 15.7 million euros it’s a consolidation of the capital positionwith a Total Capital Ratio (TCR) of 20.27%. There was a significant reduction in impaired loans, bringing coverage levels to standards in line with system averages and placing net impaired loans at around 1.5%.
The data for the first quarter of 2024 confirm a positive trend, with a further capital strengthening and the TCR exceeding 21%. Net impaired loans fell further, reaching approximately 1.25%.
The top management of Banca Centro Toscana Umbria expressed satisfaction with the results obtained, while maintaining a prudent attitude due to the complex general economic situation, the forecasts of a reduction in rates and the uncertainties about the economic prospects. However, confidence in the solidity of the bank and the Iccrea Banking Group, of which Banca Centro is part, remains high.
During the meeting, the opening of the new Foligno branch, which adds to the current 70 branches, of which 28 are operational in Umbria, highlighting the presence and proximity of the bank in the area. The new branch will be inaugurated on May 21st in via Arcamone 26in front of the San Giovanni Battista Hospital.

Additionally, a Advanced ATM in the historic center of Foligno to offer a qualified service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to private individuals and businesses.
These new controls strengthen the bank’s presence in the area, keeping the relationship with the customer at the centre, in line with the values of Banca Centro Toscana Umbria.
