Florence, 19 May 2024. Four decisive matches in terms of survival played today: in the 6pm matches Novara and Vis Pesaro managed to stay in Serie C NOW, with Fiorenzuola and Recanatese paying the price respectively.
The Piedmontese club repeated the success of the first leg against Fiorenzuola by winning 2-1 at home, with the goals of Ongaro and Bentivegna being decisive. However, Vis Pesaro reversed the result and, after the one-nil defeat in Recanati, achieved victory and salvation only in injury time thanks to Pucciarelli’s final four-three goal.
The 8.30pm match between Monopoli and Virtus Francavilla ends 1-1: the guests took the lead at the end of the first half with Ingrosso’s goal, but the home team managed to save the day with Tommasini.
Same result in the other match at 8.30pm between Potenza and Monterosi at the “Viviani”, where they started from the partial of one to zero in favor of the Lucanians gained in the first leg. The rossoblù remain in Serie C NOW thanks to the two goals in the Caturano Playout.
