Passaro flies higher and higher, triumph in Turin

Francesco Passaro flies higher and higher. The 23-year-old from Perugia, product of the Junior Perugia academy and always trained by coach Roberto Tarpani, after his great progress at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia (third round), won the title at the Challenger ATP Intesa San Paolo in Turin, beating in the final in all-blue derby Lorenzo Musetti, nr. 29th in the world. A Passaro in extraordinary form thus won the second ATP title in his career (the previous one in 2022 in Trieste) with a score of 63 75, at the end of a good final. With this result, the talent from Perugia returns to around 130th position in the world (he boasts a best ranking nr.108).
