The autopsy on Giuseppe Ottaviano was completed yesterday, bringing to light shocking details that delved into the circumstances of his death.
Preliminary results revealed the presence of severe trauma, which goes beyond the two head wounds and the fracture of the nasal septum initially observed during the cadaveric inspection.
The new findings include four broken ribs and a significant skull fracture. These elements made it possible to categorically exclude the possibility that the injuries could have been self-inflicted or caused by an accident, orienting the investigations towards the hypothesis of a homicide.
The Carabinieri investigative team, made up of units from the Ragusa Investigative Unit, the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Modica Company, and the Scicli Tenenza, is actively following various leads to shed light on the case.
