The program of summer events organized by the Municipality of Lanuvio was presented yesterday, Friday 17 May. A calendar that covers four months and is full of events for all tastes and all ages. It starts on June 1st with the second edition of the Medieval Festival “Civita in Arme” to end with the painting exhibition “Ulysses the myth and the sea” which will remain open from September 21st to October 21st, in between cultural events, theatrical performances, exhibitions, children’s events and theatrical performances. There will also be no shortage of what are now fixed appointments for the Lanuvina summer: the XXX edition of the Music Festival, the “Lanuvio Librintorno” cultural festival, the appointments with “Calici di Stelle”, the XXIX edition of the international classical guitar festival, the XXX edition of the “Torre d’oro” singing event, the sports festival and the inevitable “Grape and wine festival” now in its XLII edition.
Great satisfaction was expressed, on behalf of the entire administration, by the Councilor for Events Irene Quadrana: “It will be four months full of events ranging from entertainment to culture, from history to theatre. This year too, many local associations were involved and collaborated with the municipal administration to create a program of initiatives that was as varied and inclusive as possible and we believe we succeeded. The Lanuvina summer becomes, every year more, a fixed point for the citizens and tourists of the Castelli Romani area and this on the one hand makes us proud but on the other leads us to commit ourselves more and more to providing a diversified offer to meet all visitor needs. The creation of this event – concludes Quadrana – is the result of teamwork which involved not only me but the entire municipal administration. I therefore thank the mayor Andrea Volpi, the entire council and, in particular, the vice mayor Valeria Viglietti delegated to sport and the “City of wine”, the president of the city council Alessandro De Santis delegated to culture, the director of the widespread museum of Lanuvio Luca Attenni for his collaboration, all the organizations that have made their art and skills available to citizens and all the volunteers over the summer will help us make the individual events possible.”
