Then the awards ceremony continued with captain Aneta Kotnis who ended her professional career with this season. “For me it was an honor to play my last seasons as a professional at BCB, I had a great time here and I couldn’t have asked for a better club to end my career in.” Coach Cico Sacchi then spoke, who after six years will take a new path and whom the club wanted to thank with a holiday in one of the hotels of the B&B Hotel chain.

“The BCB welcomed me and I felt at home – the coach began with emotion – First of all I must thank the Valer family and in particular Carlo Alberto and Franca who have been like second parents to me in recent years. Together with the company we have done a lot and we are proud of it. The Basket Club Bolzano will always remain my home!”

This season ended brilliantly, Sports Director Alessandro Grazioli, in his first season at the Basket Club Bolzano, is already working to set up the new team, which will have a new leader, with the aim of giving even more centrality to the development of the youth sector .

“First of all, my thanks go to the entire club who immediately welcomed me into this splendid family that is BCB. – are the first words of Alessandro Grazioli– I then want to thank and greet with sincere affection the coach and friend Roberto Sacchi, from whom I was able to admire the professionalism he provided with the girls of the first team but equally with our athletes in the youth sector.

And this is exactly what I’m looking for in whoever will replace him. We want whoever takes Cico’s place to have an eye for our youth sector to combine with experience and the ability to confirm the results achieved so far with the first team too. The splendid results achieved by Cico must be our new starting point.”
