Now she is at home, with her family by her side but she is in severe pain and is still in shock from the attack she suffered, her son further explained. Meanwhile, the police are continuing to investigate the incident Policewho intervened together with the veterinarians ofLocal Health Authority, and to 118 who then helped the elderly man and now the family will evaluate the actions to take. For the injured man’s son, in fact, the dog should have worn a muzzle and been led by a person capable of handling it.
ALEXANDRIA – Police and 118 they spoke late this Saturday morning in via Tonso in Alexandria to help a man bitten by one hand from a pittbull. As told by one of our readers, the man would have tried to separate the animal and another dog, a lagotto, who had met in the street while walking with their respective mistresses. The elderly man also lives in the neighborhood and this morning he was accompanied by his caregiver as he walked with the his labrador, the citizen said.
He was probably attracted too from the cries of the owners of the pittbull and the lagotto and approached to divide the two animals. The pit bull, which was kept on a leash by its owner, however turned towards the man and bit him. The elderly man was then taken to hospital and, based on initial information gathered, he did not suffer serious injuries. The exact dynamics of the incident are still being examined by the police. The ASL vets were also on site this morning.
