This year too the Lombardy Region organized BioBlitzan event that aims to bring citizens and towns closer to the various and numerous natural areas present in the area, be they protected areas or regional parks.
Vallecamonica is participating this weekend with two initiatives “citizen science”i.e. scientific research involving citizens, organized by the Wild Animal Recovery Center and the Adamello Park House: the first, taking place today, Saturday 18 May, is held at the Cerveno House Museum, with the presentation of the updated version of the Guide of the Walks in the presence of Andrea Grava and, following, a search for diurnal butterflies and herbs with toxic properties together with Abbi Molinari and Alessandra Materia.
If reservations have already been closed for today, you have until 4:00 pm today to register for the planned activity for tomorrow, Sunday 19 May, at Passo del Tonale: from 10:00 to 15:00 there will be “From the wren to the bearded vulture, to the discovery of birds and their environments”, a day with an ornithologist to discover the species that fly above our heads, curated by Enrico Bassi and Matteo Astori .
