The Ferretti group has inaugurated the new shipyard in La Spezia, completely renovated and dedicated to the production of Riva yachts. At the La Spezia site, which came into operation for the first time ten years ago, 750 workers work, of which 200 are employees.

The new construction site

Built on an area of 64 thousand square metres, the new shipyard has 33 berths on quays for 400 linear metres. Four production warehouses, with 21 stations. Two warehouses measuring a thousand square meters in total are reserved for painting. 7 Riva Yacht models from 76′ to 130′ will be built in these spaces. Up to 30 boats per year can be built in the production center for a maximum length of 40 metres. The new shipyard has also been equipped with an exclusive area, the Riva Lounge, where owners, captains and crews will be welcomed. Alongside the renovation of the spaces, Ferretti has worked to make energy processes more efficient, equipping the structure with photovoltaic systems that will absorb its consumption.
