Pescara – The list of candidates of the 5 Star Movement who will participate in the next administrative round which will lead to the election of the new Mayor and the new City Council of Pescara was presented today in Pescara, in the City Council Hall. The list is made up of outgoing City Councilors and, as per the tradition of the 5 Star Movement, by representatives of civil society, associations and citizen committees born in the wake of the numerous protest demonstrations that characterized the five years of Masci’s administration.
“It is not a list of support or support, but a pillar that will play an essential role in the next government activity”. These are the words of the mayoral candidate Carlo Costantini present this morning at the presentation of the 5 Star Movement list which participate “I will have an extraordinary need for their presence and support” – concludes the candidate for Mayor Carlo Costantini –“because it has always represented the political force that has placed the general interests of Pescara, the citizens and the peripheral neighborhoods at the center of its activities”.
Also present was Regional Councilor Erika Alessandrini who declared: “There are many mistakes made in recent years by Mayor Masci: from via Pantini to viale Marconi, from the increase in volume for the buildings on the Riviera which was soundly rejected a few days ago by the TAR to the fines with which he harassed the citizens of Pescara, all things against which the Movement had fought in the classroom”. It was then the turn of the former Presidential candidate for the Abruzzo Region Luciano D’Amico who underlined that “The foundations for New Pescara are being laid today. In three years we will have one of the largest cities from Venice to Bari and for this we must work with the proactive ability of the candidates led by Carlo Costantini“
“We are really happy with the team that will participate in the next electoral competition. We are mainly a group of friends who fight in favor of the issues that have always distinguished us, namely political ethics, administrative transparency, social justice, energy transition, protection of the environment and the animal world but above all participation which has been the great absentee in these five years and which we put at the center of our electoral programme. – conclude i outgoing M5S Pescara councilors Paolo Sola, Massimo Di Renzo and Marco Romano –We will stop wicked projects such as those of the tram on the park road and the regional building in the resulting area while we will push for a different way of managing separate waste collection and the ecological and energy transition. We are experiencing great enthusiasm among citizens on these issues and we are certain that this will turn into a great electoral result.”
