The Italian Olympic Triathlon Championship “Città di Pesaro” of the Adriatic Series circuit will be held on Sunday 19 May, between Baia Flaminia and the San Bartolo Park. To allow the competitions to be held safelychanges to the road system are expected reported in ordinance no. 1047 of 13 May.
The main ones include, in particular, the closure of the Panoramica road to traffic (the driving ban is valid, Sunday 19th, also for residents and authorized persons), Of Viale Parigi and Lungofoglia delle Nazioni and parking bans inarea of Campo di Marte and of neighboring streets on the day of the races and in the afternoon of the previous day.
SUSPENSION OF CIRCULATION
The suspension of traffic on the outward and return race routes is expected, valid from 8 am to 1 pm, in detail in: via Varsavia and Parigi, via Baldi (from via Varsavia to via Betti), via Betti (from via Baldi to via Ondedei), via Ondedei (from via Betti to Panoramica), strada Panoramica (from via Ondedei to the end of the town centre, in the entire roadway along Lungofoglia Delle Nazioni (from via Parigi to via Agostini) and, in the stretch between via Agostini and Overview for the river side lane of the same Lungofoglia street.
The sections external to the route will be affected by the ordinance which indicates the suspension of traffic (always from 8am to 1pm) in via Baldi and Ondedei (in the sections from via Agostini to via Betti), in Panoramica, in via Gattoni, Angeli, in road to Soria (the stretch that leads to Panoramica) and in the bicipolitana of via Parigi and Lungofoglia Delle Nazioni.
Cited in the ordinance is the exception to the one-way system, on sight, for residents of Via Belgrado.
PARKING PROHIBITIONS
Ordinance 1047 also imposes parking bans to ensure the championships take place. No parking in the area to the left of the entrance to the Campo di Marte car park from 8.30am on 18 May to 5pm on 19 May. The ban will extend to the entire parking area on May 19th when it will not be possible to park in Campo di Marte and via Varsavia from 7am to 5pm. Parking ban, at the same time (7am-5pm) on Sunday 19th May, in via Parigi, Baldi, Betti, Ondedei (from via Betti to Strada Panoramica Adriatica), in Strada Panoramica (from Via Ondedei to Via Angeli) and in Via Lungofoglia Delle Nazioni (from Via Parigi and Via Agostini).
The swimming-cycling-running fractions of the “Città di Pesaro” Olympic Triathlon Championship will take place from 9am to 12.30pm, between Baia Flaminia and the San Bartolo Park, as foreseen by the route of the race which will end with the awards ceremony scheduled for 1pm
