President Quintino Pallante has called a new meeting of the Molise Regional Council for Tuesday 21 May 2024, at 10 am. The agenda includes a single point of discussion: Legislative Proposal no. 26, initiative of the Regional Council, concerning “Amendments to regional law n. 6 of 2021, General report of the Molise Region for the financial year 2020″.
The session will therefore focus on the changes necessary to adapt the 2020 financial statement, with the aim of making improvements and remedying the situation. In fact, the Constitutional Court, with sentence number 39 of 2024 filed on 11 March, regarding the judgment of constitutional legitimacy in an incidental manner, declared constitutional illegitimacy of the articles 4, 6, 9 and 12 of the law of the Molise Region n. 6 of 29 December 2021, the General report of the Molise Region for the financial year 2020; the constitutional illegitimacy of the articles. 1, 3, 4 and 5 of the law of the Molise Region of 29 December 2021, i.e. the Adjustment of the 2021 – 2023 budget forecast and changes to regional laws. According to the Court presided over by Augusto Antonio Barbera the 2020 financial statement is illegitimatefrom which all other accounting acts are derived in cascade.
