It ended a day early first phase of the extraordinary maintenance intervention to replace the expansion joints on Risorgimento Bridge. Since yesterday the road has been reopened on both sides with double lanes for city traffic. The early opening benefits traffic also in view of the visit of Pope Francis this Saturday.

The second phase will begin next Wednesday. The limitation of road traffic will be restored for the necessary time, closing one semi-lane at a time to still guarantee traffic in both directions.
During the works, which will last approximately ten days, the ban on transit of scheduled buses and tourist buses in the stretch of road between the intersection with via Pontida and the intersection with Lungadige Cangrande. Mandatory deviations will be indicated by the appropriate vertical and horizontal signs which will be placed near the construction site.
