Sunday 19 May extraordinary opening at the Cesare Fiaschi Hippodrome in Ferrara with a day designed to involve and entertain all families.
While waiting for the inauguration of the 2024 trotting season, which this year will see 6 racing conferences on the calendar (2 more than in previous years), ATI Nuovo Ippodromo di Ferrara, which manages the facility, is organizing a day of “open doors” starting from 9 in the morning until sunset.
The program is very rich: in the morning there will be space for the students of the Equestrian Centers who will compete in gymkhana, dressage and show jumping competitions with the dispute of the City of Ferrara Trophy. Also, review of horses Spaniards edited by UAIPRE and presentation of stallions by At the Top.
At lunch it will be possible to eat in the Hippodrome while enjoying an excellent piadina: there will be 2 stations that will compete to win the title of “best piadina”. Patrons will be able to express their preference allowing the staff with the most votes to win. There is also space for children, who can have fun with their children in the afternoon pony! And of children with the most “equestrian” looks” will be awarded during the afternoon.
Being in a racecourse there is also space for the much loved ones ran at a trot, which attract hundreds of people to Fiaschi every summer. They will be amateur competitions and without betting collection which will see famous people try their hand at sulky ordinary peoplecoordinated by Alberto Foà, manager of the Stars charity horse racing circuit.
As a corollary to a festive afternoon they couldn’t miss the country music and dancing edited by Molinella Country Friends, Monteveglio Country and Ferrara country – Born Free.
Not only entertainment but also horse riding culture, thanks to the author Paolo Borin who will introduce his latest literary work to the public”The unlikely joy”. It tells the beautiful story of a trotter who escaped death (abandoned in the garage of a disused racecourse) who is recovered by an entrepreneur and given to a little girl.
An unmissable afternoon which will also involve the Municipal Administration, sponsoring the event, which will be present at the event to greet the citizens.
