Young Entrepreneurs, the national GenerAzioni project stops in Ravenna

On the days of the anniversary of the flood that hit Romagna in May 2023, the roadshow of the Young Entrepreneurs of the national Confindustria, Generazioni, a project in collaboration with the Luiss Business School dedicated to the generational transition, stops in Ravenna.

The national vice-president Maria Anghileri and the regional president Ivan Franco Bottoni visited the Ravaioli Legnami company in Villanova di Bagnacavallo, which was heavily damaged a year ago, and then met with entrepreneurs from Romagna, listening to testimonies of generational transitions taking place in the area. Telling his experiences to Mario Benedetto, Luiss teacher and author of the volume “La Staffetta”, as well as Cav. Elio Bagnari with his children Chiara and Angelo, who chairs the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Confindustria Romagna, also the Ravenna entrepreneurs Franca Mentana and her daughter Licia Angeli, national vice-president of the under 40 Group.

“We appreciated the closeness of our colleagues on a day that takes on a high symbolic value – underlines Bagnari – our Association immediately mobilized a year ago, creating a solid help network between companies, from which we ourselves have benefited, and it is important keeping that solidarity alive while at the same time looking forward, continuing to plan our future: in this sense, generational change is a delicate and current issue on which to think and listen to the testimonies of the territory”.

“The Italian entrepreneurial fabric is mostly made up of family businesses, and understanding the transition of management from one generation to another becomes essential to direct the future of the company and the community in which it resides – states Anghileri – The generational transition does not it is a private matter, but an element that should be central in the public debate both for the effects on the economic system and for the psychological implications of the actors involved”.

“GenerAzioni – declares Ivan Franco Bottoni – is a project that closely concerns us young entrepreneurs, who are often involved in transition processes from one generation to another. Being able to have a clear vision from those who have managed to successfully complete this type of challenge is essential to have an indication on how to act in our companies”.

The meeting was held at the Darsenale in Ravenna, where the photographic exhibition “Fango” by Manuela Flamigni is underway.
