It was found late yesterday afternoon in Foggia Anna Maria Veneziano, the 19-year-old girl from Lucera who disappeared on April 16th. The girl, who had been attending an educational center for a few years, disappeared a month ago when she did not show up to the educators who, together with her parents, had filed the complaint. Yesterday afternoon there was a report to the police from a woman who said she had seen the 19-year-old in Foggia: the military went to the place indicated by the woman and found the girl. Anna Maria was admitted to hospital for checks: her condition is said to be good.
In recent days, the television program “Who has seen it?” has also been interested in his story. A disappearance that had alarmed the entire Lucera community, worried about the fate of the 19-year-old. Just yesterday morning, exactly one month after his death, the mayor of Lucera Giuseppe Pitta had sent a message on Facebook asking for help to bring the girl back to her parents. And this morning the mayor himself returned to writing on social media. «Thanks to the closeness and collaboration of each of you and the great work of the police – writes Pitta – today Annamaria was able to embrace her family again.
I’m really happy. A heartfelt hug to everyone and in particular to the Lady who, after a short phone call to tell me that she had seen Annamaria, immediately made herself available to the police, triggering a virtuous mechanism that led to her being found.”
