Today, the provincial command of the Caserta Fire Brigade was involved in several important interventions. Among these, two deserve particular attention due to their importance.
The first intervention occurred this morning in the municipality of Casal di Principe, in via Giorgio la Pira. The team from the Aversa detachment was called to put out a fire that had started in a closet of an apartment on the first floor. Thanks to the timely intervention of the Fire Brigade, the fire was limited to the room on fire, without involving the rest of the apartment.
The second intervention was characterized by the rescue of a person involved in an accident at work in the municipality of Castel Volturno, along the Domiziana. The accident occurred on a construction site for laying fiber optic cables.
The Fire Brigade intervened promptly to free a 62-year-old man who was stuck in a mixing bucket. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the rescuers and the timely arrival of the emergency medical service, the man was declared dead.
These interventions demonstrate the importance and effectiveness of the work carried out by the Provincial Command of the Caserta Fire Brigade. The professional teams are always ready to respond to emergencies and implement all necessary actions to ensure the safety of citizens.
