VARESE – A kick to prejudices to increase the culture of sport, psychophysical well-being and to learn respect for others. But also to prepare for great event in Milan where Enaip of Varese will bring three teams in as many sports disciplines to participate in the “Enaip Sport Event Tournament”.

Special lesson with Solbiatese Azaleas

But before the big sporting event scheduled for Saturday 18 May at the Rugby Milano sports center in Segrate, the students of Enaip of Varese, the other day, took part in a special training moment with the Azalee Solbiatese footballers. Young champions who have already worn the shirts of large clubs such as Inter or the Azzurra jersey and who have now decided to bet on the Azalee Solbiatese project.

In the main hall of the school in via degli Uberti a group of players held a lesson on sport and life. With the help of some videos they managed to stimulate the students’ curiosity and erase all those differences dictated by the prejudices that surround a sport like football considered, wrongly, “only for men”. In addition to telling their great passion for football, the sacrifices and how life can be organized between work, studies, training and free time.

Own goals by men

Two hours of dialogue and discussion during which the false myths against which girls who play football must fight every time were “dismantled” to demonstrate that the technique with a ball between your feet has no gender.
Well done on the pitch and also “in the classroom”. Martina Berlato; Fabiana Vischi, Serena Marchiori, Elisabetta Pozzi and Silvia Crestan they were able to involve young people by sending them an important message: sport has no borders, but it also has no sex differences. «On the contrary – he explained Flavio Santoianni, former player and now manager of the Azalee Solbiatese Femminile – from the point of view of tactical and technical intelligence, girls are often superior to “boys””.

Challenge in the classroom

The match, which ended with a free style dribbling challenge between the players and the boys, represented the “local” step of the great sporting event of Saturday 18th, when a tournament will be staged in Milan which will see over 400 Enaip students from 19 locations in Lombardy compete in volleyball, football and relay. A day of competition and fun that will involve young people aged 14 to 18, their families and part of the teaching staff. The winning teams will receive recognition not so much for the result of the competition, but rather for the spirit of collaboration and the desire to have fun through healthy competition and lots of teamwork.
