A rumor that has circulated in recent days has taken shape and become official. Piero Bucchi he is the man chosen by‘Happy Casa Brindisi to start again from Serie A2, after the disappointing season which led to the relegation of the Apulian club from Serie A1.
New Basket has announced the return of the technical expert released from Dinamo Sassari on 24 January this year, after the difficulties encountered by the Sardinians in the league and in Europe, with the elimination by Cholet in the Champions League. Bucchi then returns to the Brindisi bench on which he sat over 200 times, starting from the 2011/12 season, the year in which he won the Legadue Italian Cup and returned to the top flight. “The numbers can only partially describe the history and the never-ending bond between coach Piero Bucchi and New Basket Brindisi – we read in the note from the Apulian club -. The coach will be presented to the press on Saturday 18 May.
