VARESE – A course for become a street clown. It will take place in September and is organized by us VIP Varese, The colors of the smile Odv. A reality that was born in the area in 2004 and since then has brought a smile to the various structures in the province in which it operates. The association is federated to VIP Italy (acronym for Viviamo in Positivo) together with other “VIPs” scattered across the Italian territory, over 70.
The course in September
VIP Varese operates in hospital facilities (Hospital del Ponte di Varese, Tradate, Busto Arsizio and Cittiglio), RSA (Legnano, Castellanza, Gorla Minore) Rsd (Foundation Dishes of Sesto Calende), therapeutic communities for people recovering from drug addiction (Cascina Verde di Azzate) and wherever a smile is needed. Training will be held from 20 to 22 September 2024 and consists of a basic clown therapy course in which future volunteers learn basics on volunteering as a clown (hygiene rules, behavior in the hospital ward, clown techniques and other aspects). Therefore, bimonthly training is planned with ongoing training for the entire duration of the volunteering and others are proposed thematic specialist courses and for staff. How to become a clown
The course is necessary to become a volunteer in order to practice clown therapy in any area requires artistic knowledge basic as well as a natural predisposition to laughter and happiness. The course is conducted by professional teachers-trainers of the social promotion association VIP Aps. A participation fee of 165 euros is required: part of the fees are intended for socio-educational projects aimed at minors and adolescents, in particular those most at risk of social marginalization and deviance. Anyone who becomes a volunteer will be able to request a shirt with the VIP Italia logo from the association.
