“And here we go again.” Despite the enormous daily effort of the police the situation at Portela now remains out of control. This morning around 3pm – according to what we learn – two ‘gangs’ of foreigners faced each other. At first with a heated argument, then kicks and punches began to fly until a knife appeared. The one who fared the worst was a young man of – it seems – Maghreb origins who collapsed on the ground after being hit by a gun.n slash to the leg.
The very young boy was bleeding profusely which was dabbed up with paper handkerchiefs. The trail of blood was also visible on the asphalt of the sidewalk.

The stabbing occurred at the height of number 30 in via Pozzowhich is basically what we could define as the first outpost of the historic center for tourists who get off at the Piazza Dante stations.
3 police cars and an ambulance arrived on the scene and transferred the injured man to the emergency room. After the fight the protagonists disappeared.
