LECCE – The counting operations relating to the Unisalento student elections for the two-year period 2024/26 concluded a few hours ago. With 3024 votes Link Lecce elects for the first time in its history the entire student component of the Board of Directors, 3 out of 4 members of the Academic Senate, 2 out of 2 members of the Single Guarantee Committee, 2 out of 2 members of the Sports Committee, the ADISU Puglia board members for the territorial offices of Lecce and Brindisi and a large majority in the Student Council.
“With a noteworthy participation and in contrast with the data of the political and administrative elections, the Unisalento elections deliver a historic result for our organization: the university union wins in 7 out of 9 departments and elects almost all of the university’s central bodies – declares Laura Perrone, coordinator of Link Lecce – An important result for the entire student community, which will be able to continue to count on solid, radical and responsible representation”.
