SIENA. Life beyond death: “At the frontiers of the Afterlife” concludes in Siena, the series of conferences proposed by the Archaeosophical Association and dedicated to one of the most mysterious and fascinating themes of all time.
The appointment, scheduled for 5.00 pm next Saturday 18 May at the association’s headquarters in via Ricasoli 24 (free entry), will address the theme “Testimonies of the afterlife”.
The mysterious relationship of the living with the deceased has been a topic of undoubted importance since time immemorial. Man has always tried to establish contact with the deceased, often indirectly through prayer, other times in a more direct way.
Such contacts have been the subject of study since the mid-nineteenth century and up to the present day. But are these real experiences, hallucinations, or frauds?
Is there really a possibility of creating a bridge between the world of the living and the afterlife?
This conference will offer a historical overview of the development of spiritualism and the cases considered most striking.
