During the last episode of Live Break, a highly topical format by CityNow, the councilor Romeo announced important updates regarding the completion of the new courthouse of Reggio Calabria.
Work on the new courthouse
“After a careful selection, theprovisional assignment of the winner for the execution of the works.
Currently, the anti-mafia checks provided for by article 80 of the Procurement Code. These controls are fundamental to guarantee the transparency and legality of the entire work assignment process, ensuring that the winning company is in Rule under every aspect.
Once the checks have been completed, it will be possible to proceed with the definitive confirmation of the assignmentor”.
Councilor Romeo confirmed that, according to the timetable established, the works for the completion of the courthouse can begin at the end of June.
The work, which has been stopped for over 20 years, represents an issue of great importance for the city. The community anxiously awaits to finally see the end of the works in order to be able to take advantage of it. The new courthouse is intended to significantly improve theefficiency of the local judicial systemoffering a modern structure suited to the needs of the area.
Councilor Romeo also expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and reiterated the municipal administration’s commitment to completing the project on time.
