Umbria records a 1% increase in inflation, according to the Consumers’ Union

According to a recent report by the National Consumers Union, Umbria recorded a 1% increase in inflation. This data, based on the processing of Istat data on prices, places Umbria in sixth place among the Italian regions for the increase in prices in the month of April.

The average annual increase per family in the region was 238 euros, with an annual inflation rate, again in April, of 1%. The regions that precede Umbria in terms of price increases are Veneto, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Campania.

Among the cities, Venice and Siena recorded the highest price increase in April (+1.9%, compared to the average of +0.8%), while Aosta recorded deflation, with prices falling by 0.9%.

As regards Umbrian cities, Perugia ranks 27th, with a price increase of 1% in April and an average annual increase per family of 245 euros. Terni, on the other hand, is in 40th place, with an annual inflation rate in April of 0.7% and an annual increase of 172 euros.

These data highlight the importance of carefully monitoring price trends and inflation, as they have a significant impact on the cost of living for families. The National Consumers Union continues to play a key role in analyzing these trends and informing consumers.
