These decisions are the result of a series of shortcomings and misalignments that we can no longer sustain.”
“We have found a chronic lack of participation and effective involvement in the council chamber; we have found ourselves faced with a modus operandi that limits these opportunities, centralizing decisions and reducing our role to a mere formality. Our position is clear: we have no masters or representatives, let alone personal interests to satisfy. We act to protect the values of our council and to protect the interests of all citizens, it is our duty to ensure that political choices are a reflection of the priorities that directly affect well-being, livability and the needs of our community”.
“It is our intention to solicit, in the appropriate forums, an in-depth discussion on the actual results that the administrative action is bringing to the City. There are entire sectors that need fresh and new air, serious administrative action is necessary, capable of support them and relaunch them. For these reasons we ask the mayor for a significant and urgent change of pace”.
