The heavy rains of recent days have also created some problems for the schools of Varese.
Water leaks were reported in the gym of the Pellico secondary school (at the Hippodrome – IC Varese 2) as early as Wednesday 15 May with physical education activities also suspended on Thursday.
The water also penetrated the gym of the Galilei primary school (Avigno – IC Varese 3), unusable on Thursday both for students in the morning and for sports clubs in the afternoon who had to suspend courses “due to force majeure”.
In the night between Wednesday and Thursday the rain also reached the medical report of the Parini primary school (in Giubiano – IC Varese 4) where the intervention of the workers of the Municipality of Varee was timely and decisive, so much so that the children who stopped at school for the canteen on Thursday were able to regularly eat at school in the dedicated spaces.
