We’re heading into an eventful summer for Syracuse Orange football. First-year head coach Fran Brown had his squad trending in the right direction at spring camp, but now Orange fans can only wait until SU’s season begins on Aug. 31.

Meanwhile, Action Network released its opening win totals of all ACC teams on Tuesday morning. Here’s the full list:

The Orange are tied for the sixth most projected wins in the conference at an over/under of 7.5. If you’re banking on the over, that means SU would have to win its most games since 2018, where it rolled to 10 wins and a victory over West Virginia in the Camping World Bowl.

This year’s over/under is one win higher than last season’s 6.5 mark. Dino Babers got the Orange out to a hot 4-0 start, but a midseason collapse ultimately led to the under hitting (6-7) and the end of the Hawaiian’s eight-year tenure.

Like most seasons, Syracuse has a very favorable draw early on with home games against Ohio, Georgia Tech, Stanford and Holy Cross. The Orange then embarked on a three-game road trip, including a battle with UNLV at Allegiant Stadium and matchups at NC State and Pittsburgh. SU returns home to play Virginia Tech before heading east to Chestnut Hill to face Boston College. The final three games are Cal on the road and UConn and Miami both at home.

At worst, the Orange should finish with at least seven wins. Having 7/12 games at the JMA Wireless Dome is a huge boost, and facing Pitt and BC on the road isn’t the toughest draw away from home either.

Now it’s your turn. How many wins will Syracuse finish with this season?
