Reggia Caserta, writings on the facade: author identified

There State Police of Caserta reported a young man of North African origin, believed to be the author of the defacement of the façade of the Royal Palace of Caserta, which occurred during the night between last Tuesday and Wednesday, using spray paint.

After the report on line 113, around 2 am, police officers from the Flying Squad they intervened on site to reconstruct what happened. Thanks to the immediate investigations launched together with the Flying Squadboth of a technical and informative nature, and also on the basis of the analysis of the Palace’s video surveillance systems, it was possible to identify a young man, who escaped with an electric bicycle.

The boy, who had recently come of age, was identified and traced to his home and taken to the police station for the ritual procedures. In the end, he was reported for defacing the artistic property, recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site.

It was around 2am when some passers-by noticed a young man fiddling near the facade of the royal palace. The alarm was immediately raised on 113. A squad car, already engaged in a territorial control service, was sent to the scene from the operations room. In the meantime, a report is also forwarded to the security guards on duty within the Vanvitellian complex. Despite the timely intervention, however, the damage was already done and the thug escaped. The anonymous lover left the writing on the wall: “For better or for worse semp cu te”, dedicated to an alleged Ludovica.
