The Sesto San Giovanni area, as leader of the territorial area, has published an “ACCREDITATION NOTICE FOR THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND/OR IN CONDITIONS OF NON SELF-SUFFICIENCY” .
Why get accredited
Accreditation constitutes a necessary prerequisite for the Territorial Area to purchase directly from the accredited body, chosen by the beneficiary, the specific services aimed at guaranteeing full possibility of permanence at home and in the context of life of the elderly and adult person with serious disabilities and/or or non-self-sufficient as well as educational and socializing activities for minors with serious disabilities.
Social welfare and educational services mean the complex of interventions, even temporary, of care and care of the person at home and/or in their living context rendered through various types of services.
Recognition of accreditation involves registration in the Territorial Register of the subjects authorized to provide the service in the Municipalities of Sesto San Giovanni and Cologno Monzese.

Section 1.”Home care interventions“;
Section 2.”Educational interventions for adults with disabilities or who are not self-sufficient“;
Section 3.”Educational interventions for minors with disabilities“.
Who can submit their application:
Companies, businesses, social cooperatives, special companies, foundations, consortia already established with these characteristics:
• Social purpose (company mission) including socio-educational activities, assistance and care for people in conditions of fragility, non-self-sufficiency or with disabilities
• Have gained at least 3 years of experience, of which at least 12 continuous months, in the sector of activity covered by the accreditation.
