Excellent successes for the students of the “Vittorino da Feltre” secondary school in Reggio Calabria, to the semi-final of the Mathematical Games which took place in Reggio Calabria at the “Alessandro Volta” State Scientific High School. The students who passed the semi-final test for the C1 category will challenge the best in Italy at the national final of the International Championships which will be held on 25 May 2024 at the Bocconi University in Milan.

The students from the Reggio Emilia institute admitted to the final are: Domenico Altomonte from the 2nd F class (5th place); Demetrio Moschella of the 1st F (7th place), Vincenzo Di Stefano (2nd E class), 33rd place and Francesco Maria Varco (2nd C class), 34th place.

Excellent results also for the students Davide Cristofalo and Giorgia Politi of the 5th B class of the Carducci Primary School. The two boys will participate in the final of the mathematical games to be held at the “Bocconi” University of Milan on May 25th.
On the occasion of the national final of the Mathematical Games, the team that will represent Italy at the International final will be selected, which will take place in Paris, at the École Polytechnique of Palaiseau, on 25 and 26 August 2024.

The school director, Prof. Sonia Barberi, proud of the children for the excellent results achieved, complimented them on their demonstrated abilities and commitment, and the teachers (Prof. Maria Luisa Votano per la Scuola Secondary first grade and Carmela Latella for the Primary School) who coordinated the activity that will allow the participation of six pupils from the institute in the national final of the Mathematical Games.
