Monza: roads closed after bad weather, difficult traffic

The closure of some roads in Monza after yesterday’s heavy rains, Wednesday 15 May 2024, caused flooding, is creating traffic difficulties.

Roads closed, traffic at a standstill

Disturbances this morning, Thursday 16 May, are occurring between Viale Brianza, Viale Cesare Battisti and Viale Regina Margherita. This is because via Boccaccio was closed after the Lambro overflowed yesterday. The Local Police is on site to regulate vehicle flows. Via Aliprandi, a road that runs alongside the Lambro, whose level remains high, is also closed.
