A few days ago in the Prefecture of Agrigento, during a meeting of the Committee for public order and safety, there was also a discussion on how to guarantee order and safety during the weekend days in via Atenea, where the influx of many people especially thanks to the meritorious entertainment initiative “Urban Fest”. Well, now, on the initiative of the local police councilor, Carmelo Cantone, a group of traders on Via Atenea met with the prefect Romano on the same topic. And councilor Cantone comments: “I think it is very positive to have started a joint journey. I asked traders to formulate concrete proposals in order to find common solutions to ensure compliance with the rules and above all the protection of urban safety. These proposals were shared and accepted by the Prefect, who considered them valid. Thanks to the sense of responsibility demonstrated by various entrepreneurs, who invest in this area every day, we will be able to guarantee the city moments of healthy and safe entertainment, involving residents and visitors”.
