From Piacenza to Recco by motorbike, through the Trebbia Valley, to enhance Coppa Piacentina, Salame Piacentino, Pancetta Piacentina and Focaccia di Recco with cheese, together with the territory.

The appointment is Friday 17 May at 9am in Piazza Cavalli where 9 Yamaha Tenere 700 motorbikes will be delivered to the same number of journalists, united by a passion for motorbikes and food and wine tourism, who have accepted the invitation of the Piacentini DOP Salumi Consortium which, in synergy with the Consortium of Focaccia di Recco with PGI cheese has given life to a unique tour, the ‘Valtrebbia Food & Ride Moto Experience’, based on the conformity of the respective territories of origin, united by Val Trebbia. From the hills of Piacenza, along a fascinating itinerary between steep hills, curves and hairpin bends, in a journey of about three hours, you arrive at the Ligurian sea in Recco, in the heart of the Golfo Paradiso.

A very engaging experience of experiential tourism where the protagonists are the Piacenza and Ligurian territories and the products of the two Consortia.

The program takes place on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May to cover the entire Trebbia Valley from Piacenza to Recco. What will be proposed has a strong appeal as Val Trebbia was the object of admiration of the Nobel Prize winner Ernest Hemingway who, in 1945, during the Second World War, passing through it as a correspondent following the liberation army, wrote down the phrase in his diary “today I crossed the most beautiful valley in the world”.

The group of participants will be led by Alessandro Tramelli of Tramelli School, Yamaha Motor Italia technical partner and will also be followed by a van equipped for assistance.
