Pauly Paulicap makes Nutribullet Treviso fans dream. The young big man, one of the best players of TVB’s difficult season, spoke to La Tribuna di Treviso. «If I had to define it with one word, I would say it was a difficult season. The Italian championship is of a high level, decidedly higher than the Cypriot one. There are expert players, others with important physicality, and it was really nice to challenge so many champions. I learned many lessons over the course of the season.”
Which was the most significant. «The most important is not to give in to easy enthusiasm. I have in mind above all the first championship match, the one against Milan, where we played a great match, losing by a few points (86-80, ed.). Well, that match gave us the illusion that we were already a great team, capable of competing with a top team like Milan. Instead, there was a lot of work to do, and luckily we didn’t let a very complicated start get us down.”
Future in Treviso. «Now I’ve given myself a week’s rest and I’ve taken advantage of it to travel around Europe. Then I will return to Italy to collect my luggage before returning to the United States. I haven’t spoken to my agent about the future yet, we will evaluate the proposals that arrive together. I would certainly like to stay in Treviso, I really enjoyed myself. Here in Treviso there is crazy support, and even when things were bad, they were always there, both at home and away. Their warmth is something unique…”.
