Piedmont Museum Selection: work for experts

A notice has been issued selection of the Piedmont Regional Museums Directorate for work assignments to be given to various professional figures.

These are 4 collaboration assignments for the year 2024 Experts, Collaborators and Art Historians.

Applications to participate must be sent by May 24, 2024.

SELECTION OF PIEDMONT MUSEUMS FOR ASSIGNMENTS

A selection was therefore announced by the Piedmont Regional Museums Directorate for work assignments aimed at various professional figures. Specifically, the following will be selected:

  • n. 1 Expert in tenders and contracts;
  • n. 1 Collaborator to support the tenders and contracts office;
  • n. 1 Art historian;
  • n. 1 Communication expert.

SCOPE OF ACTIVITY

The figures selected through the selection announced by the Piedmont Museums Authority will be asked to carry out the following activities:

  • Expert in tenders and contracts: the person in charge will have to provide support to the Piedmont Regional Museums Directorate in its contractual activity, with reference to both the phase of choosing the contractor and that of stipulating contracts, agreements and concessions;

  • Collaborator in support of the tenders and contracts office: the person in charge will have to provide support to the contracts office of the DRM Piedmont in relation to the procedures for planning interventions, tenders and public contracts, from the definition of the tender documents to the definition of the procurement contracts;

  • Art historian: the person in charge will provide technical-scientific support for carrying out the tasks assigned to the Regional Museum Directorates by the Prime Ministerial Decree of 2 December 2019, n.169 (art.42) at the following locations:
    – Racconigi Castle;
    – Villa della Regina;
    – Agliè Castle;
    – Moncalieri Castle.

  • Communication expert: the person identified will provide support for carrying out the tasks assigned to the Regional Museum Directorates by the Prime Ministerial Decree of 2 December 2019, n.169 (art.42), as better specified in the announcement.

The activity will therefore be carried out personally by the collaborators, in a flexible and autonomous way and without subordination constraints.

REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

Persons in possession of the general requirements for access to public competitions can therefore participate in the selection for work assignments announced by the Piedmont Museums Authority, namely:

  • Italian citizenship or one of the European Union countries or other categories indicated in the announcement;
  • enjoyment of civil and political rights;
  • not having been subject to criminal convictions or disqualification or other measures which exclude access to jobs in Public Administrations and not to be subjected to criminal proceedings;
  • not have been dismissed, excused or declared forfeited from employment in the Public Administration.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are also required to do the following specific requirements:

EXPERT IN TENDERS AND CONTRACTS (LAWYERS)

  • Graduate diploma old system or master’s degree in legal or equivalent disciplines;
  • Registration in the Bar Association;
  • At least five years of professional experienceof which at least two, even non-continuous, through collaboration assignments with public administrations, in relation to public tenders and procurement procedures, and/or with public or private bodies, companies or professional firms in the field of Administrative Law.

COLLABORATOR IN SUPPORT OF THE TENDER AND CONTRACTS OFFICE

  • Graduate diploma old system or master’s degree in legal or equivalent disciplines;
  • At least 36 months of work experience even non-consecutive ones in work positions corresponding in content to the professional profile sought, with any type of employment contract (internships, internships, volunteering, training within school or post-school courses are not considered suitable).

ART HISTORIAN

  • Graduate diploma old course in Letters with specialization in conservation of cultural heritage or with historical-artistic specialization, or in cultural heritage, or in conservation of cultural heritage with historical-artistic specialization or master’s degree in historical-artistic disciplines;
  • Research doctorate and/or specialization diploma in disciplines relating to the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage and/or in historical-artistic disciplines;
  • Proven professional experience of at least two yearseven non-continuous, relating to collaboration assignments with public administrations and museum foundations, in the execution of the activities indicated in the notice.

EXPERT IN COMMUNICATION

  • Graduate diploma old system or master’s degree in Communication Sciences;
  • Proven professional experience of at least three yearseven non-continuous, relating to collaboration assignments with press and communication offices, in particular of museum institutions and public administrations, in the context of which the activities indicated in the notice have been carried out.

HOW THE SELECTION IS CARRIED OUT

Once the deadline for submitting the application has expired, a special Commission will proceed with the verification of requirements and to evaluation of applications.

The Commission will proceed to evaluate the applications through two phases.

In the first phase they will come qualifications and professional experiences evaluatedaccording to the criteria and scores indicated in the announcement (for a maximum of 60 points).

In the second phase, which only those who have obtained a minimum of 40 points will access, a motivational and technical interview (maximum score of 40 points) on the aptitudes and professional experiences of the candidates, inherent to the objectives and specific professionalism gained in positions similar to the one to be filled.

The individual interviews will take place at the headquarters of the Piedmont Regional Museums Directorate or electronically.

RANKING LIST

The final ranking prepared by the Commission, according to the order of merit, will therefore contain:

  • the “winners”, i.e. those who, having passed the two phases, are equal in number to the positions requested by the Notice;
  • Thesuitable”, i.e. those who, having passed the two phases, remain in a useful position in the event of a possible scrolling of the ranking.

The provision containing the final ranking is published on the website of the Piedmont Regional Museums Directorate and will last 18 months from the date of publication.

DURATION OF JOB ASSIGNMENTS AND COMPENSATION

The professional compensation established for the winners of the selection is equal to €16,000.00.

The compensation is paid following the reporting of the activity carried out by the collaborator, upon presentation of an invoice by the professional who must therefore have a VAT number at the time of signing the contract. There are no reimbursements of expenses of any kind or additional emoluments.

The collaboration assignment will have maximum duration of 6 months and in any case not exceeding the deadline of December 31, 2024.

The collaboration assignments will take place in Turin, at the headquarters of the Piedmont Regional Museums Directorate and, as necessary, at the headquarters of the relevant museum institutes, as better specified in the announcement.

The application to participate in the Piedmont Museums selection for work assignments must be submitted within the day May 24, 2024exclusively in telematic modeby connecting to the PA Recruitment Portal via the link on this page.
