At the Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi the program for the last weekend of the month starts on Friday 24 May at 5pm with free entry to the conference which will see Marco Bazzini, curator of the exhibition “La libera modo. Abstract and informal art in the Intesa Sanpaolo collections”, in conversation with Bruno Corà, President of the Palazzo Albizzini Collezione Burri Foundation and Ivan Novelli of the Gastone Novelli Archive.

An in-depth meeting on the exhibition “La libera modo” which will illustrate works and curiosities about the artists exhibited such as Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Gillo Dorfles, Bruno Munari, Carla Accardi, Achille Perilli and Antonio Sanfilippo.

On Saturday 25 May at 3pm children and young people will be able to carry out the educational workshop “for the first time at the House Museum”Traces of wires at the museum“, an original and innovative approach to creative embroidery curated by Ilaria Margutti, artist and founder of CasermArcheologica.

Starting from some stories created by the artist Maria Lai, the young participants will be invited to open up to their imagination creating drawings and creating paths that belong to their everyday life, reproducing them on a canvas through the technique of imaginative embroidery and attention to the small details created with the thread.

The initiative will last approximately 2 hours at a cost of 12 euros per participant.

Sunday 26 May free entry, thanks to the renewed collaboration between the National Association of Memory Houses and the Italian Historic Houses Association, to the Ivan Bruschi House Museum which will open its doors to all visitors interested in learning about the collection of the illustrious Arezzo antiquarian and the exhibition “The free way”.

The opportunity is given by the 14th edition of the National Day of the Italian Historic Houses Association, which includes over 450 exclusive places such as castles, fortresses, villas, parks and gardens throughout Italy.
