Rain infiltrations, mold and spaces that have not been looked after for a long time. After years we intervened in schools in the eastern area of Naples to resolve circumstances of particular degradation and the dangers due to wear and tear and lack of maintenance and to guarantee better conditions for students, teachers and staff.

The construction site for the restyling of the Perodi nursery school and the Musone nursery school is imminent. After some time, in fact, the the municipality of Naples found the funds for the care of the municipal territory and the building heritage. Among the structures to be redeveloped are the two schools dthe Barra and San Giovanni a Teducciopopulous neighborhoods in the eastern area of ​​Naples, chosen after several inspections by municipal employees of the “Coordination and technical management of heritage” service of Palazzo San Giacomo and the technicians of the VI Municipality, the body responsible for the care of the individual complexes.

The objective is to improve the conditions of the two schools by eliminating disruptions and other circumstances of lack of hygiene and decorum. In particular, for the Perodi in via Figurelle the waterproofing of the roof, work on the downspouts, work in the bathrooms and the replacement of leaking water pipes are planned. Work is also being done on electrical sockets, lamps, on the new shelter for the main entrance and on the walls and ceilings of classrooms and common areas. In the Musone on Corso Protopisani, work was carried out, in particular, to create a new external gate and to improve the gates protecting the windows. Furthermore, the neon lamps are replaced and attempts are made to resolve the critical issue linked to rising humidity in the corridor. The works, awarded for 45 thousand euroshave already been entrusted to a company through a framework agreement of the Municipality intended for the maintenance of the municipal building heritage.

In the meantime we are working on many other schools East Naples. For daily and extraordinary maintenance, the resources allocated to the Municipality are available, just under 800 thousand euros for the three-year period 2023-2025. And seven schools in Barra, Ponticelli and San Giovanni are at the center of ambitious regeneration works through Pnrr resources, approximately 12 million euros.
