The Istituto Comprensivo Vittorio Alfieri of Crotone is ready to play a leading role in the European debate on inclusion. Thanks to his reputation for excellence in inclusive education, he was selected by the European agency SALTO to participate in the Forum on Inclusion, Identity and Action in Budapest from 4 to 9 June 2024.
The opportunity to participate in this forum is a tangible recognition of the Institute’s ongoing commitment to being an international point of reference for educational inclusion. During the event, representatives of the Institute will have the opportunity to share and learn innovative and successful practices in the field of educational inclusion with 24 other participants from all over Europe.
The goal of the forum is to equip participants with practical tools and skills to promote inclusion in their communities. Through sharing experiences, opinions and points of view, we aim to create an inclusive community and develop a critical awareness of the challenges and limitations of inclusion, identifying effective strategies to address them.
The Vittorio Alfieri Comprehensive Institute, under the guidance of the Headmaster Gisella Parise, has always placed inclusion at the center of its educational mission, adopting innovative practices to create a welcoming environment for all students. Participation in the Inclusion Forum in Budapest is a further step forward in the Institute’s commitment to overcoming barriers and promoting the success of every individual.
Special thanks go to the curricular teachers, the working group for inclusion and in particular to the support teacher Graziella Cava, who will represent the Istituto Comprensivo Vittorio Alfieri during the forum. Participation in this event will certainly have a positive impact on the Institute and on the Crotone community as a whole, further broadening the prospects and opportunities for inclusion through territorial and European partnerships.
