This is the American opposite Taylor Mims, appreciated by Igor Volley during the double final of the competition with Nantes, the team with which the new Italian won the national cup and silver in the championship.

Taylor Mims, born in 1997, grew up at Washington University, then embarked on a European career between Spain (Libby’s 2018-2019) and France (Nancy 2019-2020, Terville Florange (2020-2022) and Nantes (2022-2024 ) Now he is enthusiastic about arriving in Novara in the Italian Serie A1: “I am joining a great club and a team that I really enjoyed seeing play this year: I can’t wait to work for a prestigious team, with a great coach and exceptional fans.

I remember the atmosphere of the Pala Igor in the Challenge Cup final and it will be nice to relive it as a protagonist, because a context like that certainly helps each athlete and the team to give their best. Arriving in Italy is a step forward for my career, we are talking about the number one championship and I have always dreamed of being able to play at this level. Doing it for a club like Novara is an extra incentive and I can’t wait to get started. My goals? Novara had a great season, played very well and won a European cup: with my teammates we will work to win every single match and win some trophies.”
